It is Always a Great Day to be a Wildcat, Panther, and Wolf and I’m honored to be part of this incredible district!

I am excited to join the Plano ISD family and the Plano ISD Athletic Department! Since beginning my coaching career in 2003, I have been committed to helping student-athletes grow not only in their sport, but also in character, leadership, and resilience. My mission here in Plano ISD is simple - to ensure that our student-athletes enjoy the best athletic experience in the state of Texas and we are an athletic department that others pattern themselves after.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of coaching football, basketball, track, and soccer. My own athletic journey began at Henderson State University, where I played football on an athletic scholarship. I later earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas and have served as a campus principal at both the middle school and high school levels. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the role athletics plays in shaping well-rounded, successful young people.

Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and “girl dad.” My wife, Hazel and I have been married for 20 years, and she serves in Arlington ISD. We have four amazing daughters who inspire me every day. My oldest, Keianna works in the hospitality industry, and Taylor is a junior Nursing major at the University of Texas at Arlington. Cameron, our middle child, is a freshman soccer player at the University of Texas, and Bella, our youngest, is a junior at Mansfield High School and a competitive soccer player. I truly enjoy spending time with my family and watching my girls compete and grow both on and off the field.

I look forward to working with our talented coaches, dedicated staff, and supportive families to continue the proud tradition of excellence in Plano ISD athletics. Together, we will create an environment where every student-athlete can dream big, work hard, and reach their full potential.

Be Great on Purpose!
